Bheed 2023 Movie Review
Quick Review
A movie about the aftermath of an epidemic is what this homeland has been craving. A dark and bold document that captures the mindset of millions.
MANKESH DHAKDE is the winner with the original score. What talent! A lot of people questioned the intimate scene at the beginning, and I think they were absolutely right. He expressed the fear that Rao feels while touching the character of Boomi. It may have been a difficult decision to include that scene. But it pays off. After the movie ended in theaters, the only thing I wanted was to hug Anubav Sinha... true grit in the truest sense of the word.
The gray, cinematic experience this film creates is like no other. Integrating as many important and troubling themes as possible is just a good choice to make the story on the table look good.Otherwise, it was a short film. I've been a happy admirer of Anubav since Article 15. The technical aspects he carefully incorporates into the film make it look like a big-budget "drama." I admire his genuine dedication to the craft that he understands being brought to film. Dhakde's score was phenomenal. Original Indian music has long been celebrated. This is a film that India deserves and a film that is needed right now. There are only 30 people in the theater. At that moment, everyone certainly developed a taste for cinema. Sinha must want it too. They applauded in the end. We waited for all the credits to roll out. Meet everyone who made this film possible. All this while still sitting in the seat. What experience did I have?
Soumik's cinematography inspired me to browse his work as soon as I got home. wonderful. Honest yet surprisingly dark. The sound design was very good. I think the sound was more impressive than the visual reward. It was great to meet Aditya Srivastava. I love his presence in every movie. I have seen him in Anurag Kashyap's films and he is as obsessed with them as everyone else. Don't go until I can make a movie with you that challenges the acts of hate and ignorance that are driving these days... to make this country a better place to live and die. Thank you for the movie After the movie finished, my friend said.
Written and directed by Anubav Sinhas, "Bheed" is a social drama centered on the movement of workers during a pandemic, with the theme of social inequality. The film evokes difficult times faced by most people in society, but some people reacted very differently. Some lived in luxury, others fought for their lives. It reminds me of the people who were there. From the caste system to the demonization of religion, from WhatsApp Fake News to Connections for Beds, the monochromatic lens captures everything and solidifies its impact.
Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar give a stunning performance. Supported by Ashutosh Rana, Aditya Shrivastava, Dia Mirza, Kritika Kamra and Aditi Subedi. Pankaj Kapoor steals the show with his performance as a guard. These powerful performances were equally complemented by strong dialogue. Music is glued to the message. The script was good, but it felt messy. All in all, an important film of our time that will be remembered long after the credits roll.
