The tired old premise of a high-powered career girl (Ally works in reality television) is repeated in the plot. Ally and her ex-boyfriend Sean go back in time on a trip to her hometown, and she starts to question everything about her life. When she learns that Sean is getting married to Cassidy, who reminds her of the person she used to be, things only get more confusing. From the beginning to the end, the story is grounded and authentic, giving everything a painfully real and plausible feel. I enjoyed this movie more than I had anticipated. I expected it to be more comedic, but there was drama and a little bit of everything.  Renfield 2023 Movie Review Renfield is a supernatural horror comedy that was made in the United States in 2023. It was directed by Chris McKay, who also co-produced the film. Ryan Ridley wrote the script, which was based on a story by Robert Kirkman (who also co-produced the movie). It has no original idea or plot, and the story and scenes are very predictable and routine. The plot twists might surprise you at the end, but they aren't logical. Rahul Dev, Akshay Oberoi, Shishir Sharma, Ashmita Jaggi, and the entire supporting cast were fine and decent in the movie.
