Emergency: NYC (2023) #Tv Show Review
One Word Review Nice To Watch
Quick Review
Emergency NYC is a riveting, heart-pounding, and eye-opening reality show. It has eight episodes, each about 35 minutes long, and follows New York City's frontline medical professionals as they try to keep up with their personal and professional lives. However, Emergency NYC's style and format are significantly faster-paced than those of that show, but the goal is largely the same.
Each episode uses fly-on-the-wall cameras and cut-away interviews with talking heads to focus on three or four different patients and their problems. At the same time, personal details about the nurses and doctors who work there, their lives, and what they've been up to, are interwoven throughout the episodes.
In episode 2, we attend Nurse MacKenzie's baby shower, and in episode 6, we learn about a nurse who refused the COVID vaccine and how it has affected her profession.
Crisis New York City is definitely worth a watch. The eight episodes are packed with intense tension, crazy scenes, and drama. This Netflix series is well worth watching if you ever wanted to see how a US hospital works and, specifically, the lives of first responders.
