"The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die"  is British drama movie directed by Edward Bazalgette, composed by Martha Hillier, and in light of The Saxon Stories by Bernard Cornwell. It is a sequel to the television series The Last Kingdom. Alexander Dreymon played role of Bebbanburg once more.

On April 14, 2023, Netflix released it. Its purpose is to bring the story and the series to a close.
"The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die"

One Word Review                 Good but not great.

Quick Review

This has the same issue as another recent Netflix film that was also a follow-up to a real series in that it has very little in common with a real movie?
Because it's all episodic, it still feels like a 6- to 8-episode series.
The battle sequences are fun when they happen, but there aren't many of them, and there will be a lot you don't understand. Extremely hurried, and it did not do justice to the beloved characters from the film and the books. The movie does not discuss the other main characters who were with Uthred at the end of the television series.
"The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die"

Truly it is very disillusionment . Subsequent to watching the series just hoped for something else, yet as numerous others said it most certainly leaves out characters and was surged. It was extremely hurried. To really take their time and develop the stories and demonstrate how we got from the previous season to this one, they could have made the movie in two or even three or four parts.

Another concern was that neither Stiorra nor Lady Aelswith, Lady Eadith, nor Aethelflaed's daughter were mentioned. It was incredibly disappointing not to even mention them.

Next, the known Aethelstan would never have treated Uhtred that way or carried out the actions he did.  Because so many characters were missing, they required a second proper season to properly conclude the show. Sadly, the movie isn't as good as the series, but it was fun to see Uthred, Finan, and Sithric, as well as Father Pyrlig, in this final treatise.
I felt like the story was added too quickly to fit the 1.53-hour running time, and this could have been done better as the final season. There was a lot to show about Aethelestan's rise and events, but Netflix killed this masterpiece by giving it an extra 1.53 hours.
The conclusion was also subpar. a sad conclusion to a decent show. Go check out the show the seven kings must die.
2.5/5

The Kerala Story (2023) Movie Review

The Kerala Story (2023)  Movie Review The Kerala Story is a Bollywood Hindi-language movie directed by Sudipto Sen and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. The story of a group of women from Kerala who converted to Islam and joined the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is the main focus of the plot. The film has drawn criticism for making erroneous claims that thousands of Keralan women were being recruited into ISIS and converted to Islam. Kerala's political parties claim that it supports the Sangh Parivar's agenda. Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, and Siddhi Idnani appear in the film. It was delivered on 5 May 2023. One Word Review                              Good To Go Quick Review The movie is eye-opening. This should be seen by every Indian, regardless of religion or state. Since this film shows reality with regard to Monotheistic Abrahamic religions which just put stock in one God and...

Bheed 2023

Bheed 2023 Movie Review Quick Review A movie about the aftermath of an epidemic is what this homeland has been craving. A dark and bold document that captures the mindset of millions.  MANKESH DHAKDE is the winner with the original score. What talent! A lot of people questioned the intimate scene at the beginning, and I think they were absolutely right. He expressed the fear that Rao feels while touching the character of Boomi. It may have been a difficult decision to include that scene. But it pays off. After the movie ended in theaters, the only thing I wanted was to hug Anubav Sinha... true grit in the truest sense of the word.  The gray, cinematic experience this film creates is like no other. Integrating as many important and troubling themes as possible is just a good choice to make the story on the table look good.Otherwise, it was a short film. I've been a happy admirer of Anubav since Article 15. The technical aspects he carefully incorporates into the film mak...

The Pope's Exorcist (2023)

The Pope's Exorcist (2023)     #Movie Review One word Review Awesome. Nice to watch Quick Review Film that captivates and entertains. Although not quite as frightening as The Exorcist (1973), it is quite creepy. The primary youngster entertainer Peter DeSouza-Feighoney gives a splendid, crude and carnal exhibition. The special effects are top-notch without overdoing the gore, and there are moments of thoughtful humor that provide balance. The pace is good and tension builds slowly. The books written by a real-life priest about alleged exorcisms serve as the basis for the film. It goes without saying that things are made more complicated and changed for the sake of entertainment, but the idea that some parts might have been taken from real life adds to the overall creepiness and makes you wonder. This movie doesn't do anything groundbreaking in the genre, but its tight plot and solid scares keep you hooked all the way through. The third act as ...

Renfield 2023

Renfield 2023 Movie Review Renfield is a supernatural horror comedy that was made in the United States in 2023. It was directed by Chris McKay, who also co-produced the film. Ryan Ridley wrote the script, which was based on a story by Robert Kirkman (who also co-produced the movie). Highlighting characters from the 1897 novel Dracula by Bram Stoker, the film stars Nicholas Hoult as the title character and Nicolas Enclosure as Dracula, with Awkwafina, Ben Schwartz, Adrian Martinez, and Shohreh Aghdashloo in supporting roles.  One Word Review       One Time Watchable Quick Review Nicholas Cage plays a wonderful  Dracula in Renfield.   Nicholas    graces Renfield with a vampire depiction for the ages. Unfortunately,  It's a sloppy movie that succeeds and fails to succeed. However, "Renfield" lacks grandeur, poetry, or mystery. There are a lot of scattered "ideas" in there, but none of them really take root. The movie's under...

Gaslight (2023)

Movie review - Gaslight Available on - Disney plus hotstar Parental guidance - Not with family lot's of violence and some f words Review - Gaslight is a decent dark murder mystery thriller that can be watched and tried once. It has no original idea or plot, and the story and scenes are very predictable and routine. The plot twists might surprise you at the end, but they aren't logical. Rahul Dev, Akshay Oberoi, Shishir Sharma, Ashmita Jaggi, and the entire supporting cast were fine and decent in the movie. The screenplay was well written, the pace was fast, and the direction was good. However, The film's saving grace is its climax. As a series, this might have been better. I kept getting the impression that I was watching a shorter version of a longer story because there were too many characters and not enough background information for me to understand where they came from, and many scenes went by way too quickly. People jump to conclusions too quickly at the beginnin...

The story, Fletcher's direction, and the lack of chemistry between Evans and de Armas were all criticized in the film's negative reviews. One Word Review             Casually enjoyable. Quick Review This film was a flat out roller coaster beginning to end, with heart-siphoning action and a grasping storyline that kept me as eager and anxious as ever. The acting in this film was first class, with every entertainer Evans and Ana conveying a champion presentation that rejuvenated their characters in a rea...
