 I was so excited for this movie because the first murder mystery had so much to offer and so much to look forward to. However, I am extremely dissatisfied. I had high hopes for this movie, but it didn't live up to them at all. It had some funny parts, but unlike the first movie, there was no mystery or suspense; It appeared as though everything had been rushed into the final 20 minutes of the movie rather than being presented in a smooth manner throughout.

Easily the worst film of the year thus far: meaningless arguments about trivia that have nothing to do with anything and arguments about things that have nothing to do with anything is NOT a great script. Evidently, some kind of magic happens that makes them winners, and that is the movie. It's a moment you'll never get back; Sandler and Anniston clearly don't need the money, as evidenced by their performances. They sleepwalk through a lackluster film for the spotlight and to demonstrate that they still exist, hoping that doing so will secure them better seats in a restaurant. Nobody would spend an hour with any of them before Ghosting them, and nobody even cares.

Was it tasty? On the Seine, the car chase was good. The island's dance scene was spectacular. Aniston is not a computer-generated deep fake, as some claim. She is attractive. She just sounds like that nice drunk divorcee in the trailer park with good nature. Adam Sandler isn't my favorite, but I liked how they were together in the first movie. They seemed to be honing in on the chemistry in this one. The first one was fun because they had to solve the murders and save themselves, not because of the loud action scenes. In this instance, all they are doing is grunting, screaming, and making lame attempts at screwball comedy. Also, the first was fun on account of the multitude of over the top characters. Until the way too long fight scenes at the Eiffel Tower, the characters are just thrown about in little set pieces. raucous, ho-hum Aniston grumbled about satire being smothered by apparent sensitivity. No, the comedy is stifling because of bad writing and boring performances.

Overall, an average movie, although the first one was better and had two different directors. I'm just a little bit disappointed, so I give it 3/5.

I don't usually watch movies of this kind, but I watched it for the lead actress.
