Top Gun: Joseph Kosinski is the director of the American action drama Maverick, which was written by Ehren Kruger, Eric Warren Singer, and Christopher McQuarrie from Peter Craig and Justin Marks' stories. The film is a sequel to Top Gun, which came out in 1986. Tom Cruise reprises his lead role as Maverick, a naval aviator. It depended on the characters of the first film made by Jim Money and Jack Epps Jr. The film additionally stars Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, Glen Powell, Lewis Pullman, Ed Harris and Val Kilmer, who repeats his job as Iceman. While preparing a group of younger Top Gun graduates, including the son of his deceased best friend, for a risky mission, Maverick confronts his past in the movie.

As expected Tom Cruise is dependably at his best in what he should convey as a lead entertainer in any film proposed to him. It is staggering to such an extent that even at 59 he looks damnation youthful as a person of 45 years, or much more youthful. He always wins because of his intelligent personality and down-to-earth attitude.

I strongly encourage anyone who hasn't seen the original 1986 masterpiece Top Gun to watch it because it has an emotional and eventual connection to this sequel. In a brief scene, Val Kilmer's short but powerful portrayal of Admiral Iceman, who is currently battling throat cancer, forms an emotional bond with Pete. Jobs of youthful pilot students and graduates played by Miles Teller, Glenn Powell and Monica Barbaro are extraordinary and performed extraordinarily splendid.

Last but not least, Jennifer Connelly's performance as Penelope, Pete's new love interest and a single mother, deserves a lot of praise. Her presence alongside Tom adds a touch of comfort and facilitates the story's progression.

Overall, Top Gun 2 is a strong sequel that is highly recommended and superior to the first.

Coordinated by Doug Liman with a screenplay composed by Christopher McQuarrie and the composing group of Jez and John-Henry Butterworth, its story is adjusted from the 2004 Japanese light original All You Really want Is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka. In the future, the majority of Europe is occupied by an alien race, the movie takes place. Major William Cage (Cruise), a public relations officer with little combat experience, is compelled by his superiors to participate in a landing operation against the aliens. However, as he tries to defeat the invaders, he finds himself in a time loop.




This is another masterpiece from Tom. Movie is beautiful and watchable if you have not watched it yet than go and watch it.
